Balnowlart Lodge - Ballantrae

I had a fantastic stay at this lodge. The location was great - quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. The house itself was fab - clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for all of us. The open fire was a lovely touch, especially when it got nippy in the evening. The parking at the hotel was also great, with ample space for our cars. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the wildlife. The lodge is conveniently close to shops in nearby towns, Girvan and Stranraer. The host was really communicative and always replied promptly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful break.

Plus, the parking at the property was convenient, allowing us to easily come and go. the bonus was being able to enjoy the beautiful wildlife that surrounded the area. We loved sitting and watching them go about their business. it was a pleasant break that I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

The lack of bathrooms. With only one toilet in the bathroom, it definitely caused a queue for us.

our recent stay in ballantrae was even more enjoyable thanks to balnowlart lodge. the cosy and comfortable lodge easily accommodated our group of 5 adults, and the exceptional welcome pack left by the owners was a lovely touch. the scenic and quiet location provided beautiful views, and there were plenty of nearby attractions to explore. highly recommended for a relaxing break where everyone is catered for!

Balnowlart Lodge was really nice with its cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The owners provided an really good welcome pack and added lovely cute touches throughout our stay. The location was wonderfully scenic and quiet, offering beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions. Despite the minor inconvenience of having only one bathroom, we managed to make it work for our group of five adults. we highly recommend Balnowlart Lodge for a peaceful and enjoyable break.
